Feeling stuck between what you learned
at Uni and what real practice demands?

  • Knows patients deserve so much more than symptom management.

  • Feels underprepared or undertrained for complex or chronic cases.

  • Is quietly questioning whether you’re doing enough for your patients.

  • Craves mentorship that prioritises clinical depth over trendy techniques.

We want you to know, you’re not behind and you are not failing. You’re standing at the exact point most Chiropractors reach early in their career - but few talk about.

At This Is Life, we meet Chiropractors where they are, not where they think they should already be.

And we help you build, grow, expand and thrive from there.

Who we are

his Is Life is a neurologically focused family and paediatric practice located in Mermaid Beach, Gold Coast. Led by Dr Ashley Campbell-Bird, a purpose driven Chiropractor of 40 years.

We care for patients of all ages and phases of health, but specialise in complex and chronic neurological cases - the patients who have tried everything and still don’t have answers or a path to healing.

Our patients don’t come to us for quick fixes. They come for clarity, leadership, and health transformation. And we do it really well.

Why Chiropractors Often Watch,
but don’t apply..

We’ve noticed a pattern.

Many Chiropractors resonate deeply with what we stand for - but hesitate to reach out.

Common thoughts we hear:

  • “I’m not neurological enough yet.”

  • “I don’t work with cases like that.”

  • “They probably want someone more experienced.”

  • “I don’t know if I’d be good enough for that environment.”

So, we want to be clear:

We do not expect you to arrive fully formed.

What we care about is:

  • How you think

  • How open you are to learning, expanding and being coached

  • How seriously you take your patient outcomes

Open-mindedness matters more than confidence, and coachability matters more than how many years you have been in practice!

Who This Role Is For (Right Now)

This role is designed for Chiropractors who are currently:

  • Early in practice and realising Uni was only the beginning.

  • Have patients who don’t respond as well as you would like, and recognise something is missing.

  • Unsure how to assess the nervous system and apply protocols that create powerful change.

  • Wanting more structure, clarity, and clinical reasoning through regular mentoring and coaching.

  • Feel the gap widening between adjusting patients and truly leading care.

You don’t need experience in neurologically focused care.

But you do need:

  • Curiosity

  • Humility

  • A willingness to be mentored and coached

  • A genuine desire to learn, grow and expand

What Makes This Role Different

We Teach Our Associates From the Ground Up!

We assume you don’t have all the answers yet - and that’s okay.

You will be taught:

  • How to assess neurological function clearly and confidently

  • How to assess an xray through an advanced biomechanical and neurological lens

  • Understand why a patient isn’t responding to other types of care

  • How to work with families, kids, and complex cases with certainty, instead of overwhelm

  • How to work through challenging cases step by step

  • How to apply the right technique at the right time, to deliver transformative care

This is not about performance. It’s about developing deep understanding and mastering your craft.

You won’t be thrown in the deep end.

During your onboarding program, you’ll be gradually introduced to:

  • Chronic pain

  • Neurodevelopmental challenges

  • Chronically dysregulated nervous systems

  • Patients who have tried everything else

With support. With guidance. With debriefing and daily coaching.

This is mentorship that is supportive, not intimidating.

You can expect:

  • Clear expectations and a step by step training program.

  • Calm, grounded leadership.

  • Thoughtful feedback.

  • A pace that prioritises learning first, not pressure to perform.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-on mentorship on technique, diagnostic processes, patient management, communication, retention and more, from a highly experienced Chiropractor of 40 years.

  • Exposure to complex neurological and chronic cases

  • A structured yet evolving clinical framework

  • A values-led, high-integrity practice environment

  • Supportive systems that prioritise learning and growth

  • The opportunity to build a career with meaning and clinical mastery

  • Opportunity to co-manage a large patient base as soon as you are ready
